New stores coming to Bay Plaza Shopping Center in Co-op City

CO-OP CITY - The Bay Plaza Shopping Center is undergoing a major renovation and more stores are signing on as tenants. 

The mall will soon be home to Victoria's Secret, Michael Kors, H&M and American Eagle. Developers Prestige Properties and Development of Manhattan now say that more retailers have signed lease agreements. These new stores include the Gap, Foot Locker and Olive Garden. In total, 80 to 90 stores will be in the mall, which is expected to create 1,700 jobs.

Developers are calling the mall the first enclosed fashion mall to open in New York City in almost 40 years. The mall is expected to open in August.
