Mall at Bay Plaza becomes New York City’s first indoor shopping center in decades

THE BRONX - The first indoor mall to be built in New York City in more than 40 years is now open to shoppers.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in the Bronx at the new Mall at Bay Plaza.

The three-story shopping center offers several high-end retailers, such as Michael Kors, along with other shops, including a Macy's department store.

You'll also find a food court and several restaurants, including the borough's first Olive Garden.
