Join us for a FREE special summer indoor and outdoor event at The Mall at Bay Plaza on Friday, August 14 from 11 AM-6 PM promoting health and safety in our community.

The event will take place on Level 3 in the Food Court and outside at the JCPenney parking lot area. Enjoy family fun activities, games, music, giveaways (while supplies last) and more!

Join Becoming the CEO Network for the Back to Basics Braiding Camp from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM outside in the JCPenney Parking Lot. This hands-on experience is designed to teach foundational braiding techniques while building confidence, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, this interactive camp offers step-by-step instruction from experienced braiders, along with hair care education, product tips, client service guidance, and insight into turning your skills into an income opportunity.

What to Expect:

• Hands-on braiding instruction and live demonstrations
• Hair care and product education
• Business tips for aspiring braiders
• Guided practice with feedback
• Networking and community building

Available Sessions:

• Session 1: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Session 2: 1:30 PM–3:00 PM

Participation is first come, first serve and limited to 20 attendees. All braiding supplies will be provided, including mannequins for practice. Light refreshments will be available. Come dressed comfortably and ready to learn!
